The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.
SASSA might be rendering companies which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency explained it really is alarmed in regards to the large number of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office devoted to service the area each day. The assistance point designed for intervention activities a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to permit the servicing of all sassa status consumers and enhance entry to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
